Get ready for some great golf, superb companionship, and the opportunity to support JUVENILE DIABETES. Please reserve Friday, June 26, 2009 on your calendar for the 2009 ABBY'S FRIENDS Charity Golf Classic benefiting MUSC CHILDRENS HOSPITAL Juvenile Diabetes Research Department, JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) and CAMP ADAM FISHER. On behalf of ABBY'S FRIENDS, we would like to warmly welcome your participation in this prestigious event.

April of 2006, our daughter, Abigail, at the age of 4 years old was diagnosed with Type I (Juvenile) Diabetes. In an effort to raise awareness and money for this debilitating disease, we have decided to hold an annual golf event. Since our inaugural year in 2007, ABBY'S FRIENDS has raised over $350,000. With your support, ABBY'S FRIENDS hopes to match, if not exceed last years amazing success.

The ABBY'S FRIENDS event is comprised of a who's who of the Lowcountry business leaders and their special guests. This year, we are thrilled to be able to hold our event on the Beresford Creek Course at the prestigious DANIEL ISLAND CLUB. The day will begin with a luncheon, followed by a shotgun start and will conclude with an evening GALA. ABBY'S FRIENDS is honored to have been selected again by Lexus of Charleston as a partner with the LEXUS CHAMPIONS for CHARITY EVENT. This partnership will entail auctioning off a two person team to participate in the 2009 Lexus Champions for Charity National Championship to be played at Pebble Beach Resorts in Pebble Beach, California. This is a wonderful opportunity to attend a spectacular evening with outstanding Live and Silent Auction Items. Tickets for the evening festivities are available for individual purchase for those persons who may not wish to golf.
